Beaches
The beaches surrounding the Bay of Banderas are said to be the most beautiful in Mexico. Just a short 10 min walk or 5 min bike ride from Casa las Mariposas you will find the beach of Nuevo Vallarta. High season for the area begins in early November through the end of April, where most days are sunny with high temperatures in the low to mid. 80’s. Bring your sunscreen because every day is a beach day during the dry, high season. The low season is also a nice time to visit the area since the beaches are less crowed yet the off shore breeze keeps you cool. During the the low season, thunderstorms usually form in the late afternoon as a break from the dazzling Mexican sun.
